The Gili Islands are 3 tiny islands near the coast northwest of Lombok, consisting of Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air - in Indonesia. Famous for sandy beaches fringed with palm trees, well known for their coral reefs with great diving spots just offshore. On the smallest island of Gili Meno, sea turtles swim at Turtle Point. At Gili Trawangan, the largest island, a sunken ship sits at Wreck Point near Mentigi Beach. 

Ferries to the Gili Islands

The Gili Islands are serviced by numerous ferry (fast boats) operators with daily ferry crossings from Bali to Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Meno. Boats depart daily from Bali to Gili from Padang Bai, Serangan, Nusa Penida and Amed.

With a selection of up to 20 sailings daily, the port of Padang Bai connects Bali with the Gili Islands and Lombok.

Sailing durations range from Bali to Gili range from 2 hours and 30 minutes on the Padang Bai route and 1 hour on the Amed route.
